Welcome to the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District
The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) provides regional government to approximately 35,000 residents. The SLRD is comprised of four member municipalities - Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton and Lillooet; and four Electoral Areas - A, B, C, D (including Gold Bridge, Bralorne, Pavilion, Texas Creek, Yalakom, Seton Portage, D'Arcy, Devine, Birken, Pinecrest/Black Tusk Village, Upper Squamish, Ring Creek, Furry Creek, Britannia and Porteau Cove).

Meadows Community Centre Silent Auction

Backcountry Avalanche Warning
03/01/2012
Current backcountry avalanche conditions in the Sea to Sky region (including Whistler-Blackcomb) have prompted the Canadian Avalanche Centre to maintain a danger rating of Considerable to High. Please exercise extreme caution in the backcountry, carry appropriate avalanche safety and communications equipment, and always check with the Canadian Avalanche Centre before setting out.
Climate Action Revenue Incentive Program

The Climate Action Revenue Incentive Program (CARIP) is a conditional grant program that provides funding to Climate Action Charter signatories equivalent to one-hundred percent of the carbon Taxes that they pay directly. This funding supports local governments in their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and move forward on achieving their Charter goals.
Woodstove Exchange Program

The SLRD is supporting the Sea to Sky Clean Air Society Woodstove Exchange Program by waiving the tipping fees for woodstoves at the Pemberton Waste & Recycling Centre until December 31, 2011.
